Micro-Seismicity Analysis and Re-Entry Protocols

Micro-seismicity and rockbursts are among the major geotechnical hazards encountered when mining in hard rocks. We help clients analyze large micro-seismic events and establish effective re-entry protocols for stope blasts and large events. This can be done through basic parameters (e.g. event decay rate) or advanced parameters (e.g. seismic work rate) among others. Combined with numerical modeling, we enable our clients to optimize the stope sequencing to mitigate seismicity and forecast micro-seismicity and large events during the life of the mine.
